The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions. Losing my sister-in-law has been devastating. It’s been hard to find the “normal” again—some days feel heavy, others feel like they’re moving too fast. Grief has a way of creeping in when you least expect it, but it’s also a reminder of how much love we have for those we’ve lost. Even with the grief, there’s a part of me that’s excited for the upcoming 2025 wedding season. It’s going to be a year full of joy, love, and new beginnings, and I can’t wait to celebrate that with my clients and friends. But it’s definitely been a balancing act—allowing myself to feel everything while still showing up for the things that bring me purpose. Right now, I’m focused on working through all of this, continuing to support my wife, and finding small moments of peace along the way. I’m learning how to show up for myself as much as I show up for the people I love. No matter what life throws at us, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. RECEPTION GOALS ✨✨ Well if one thing is for sure, Laura and Caleb know how to throw a good party!! This was one for the books this year. Laura and Caleb had the most incredible wedding reception held at NUSU with all of their family and friends. The day was nothing short of perfect. No stress, just good times. Laura and Caleb decided to get married lakeside a few weeks prior in an intimate elopement with their closest family by their sides. They were fully present for their ceremony without having to worry about a tight timeline to follow. This is what Laura would call the Part 1 of the wedding saga. Part 2 is of course their incredible honeymoon!! I mean seriously I was drooling over their pictures they were sharing on social media. These two newlyweds travelled to Greece to celebrate their new status as Mr and Mrs. But they weren’t finished celebrating just yet. This leads us into the last and final part of the saga: Part 3 - THE PARTY. It is no surprise that Laura and Caleb wanted a wow factor at this event. Roses are…..WHITE 🤍 If there is one thing that we learned in our 2023 rental season it’s this: Flower backdrops are a hit! We are completely obsessed with how our white flower wall looks behind our couples at their head table. Not only does it look incredible in person, but it also takes your photos to the next level! Most of our couples also opted to hang a neon sign in front of the wall, which we are obsessed with. So why book? 1) PHOTO PERFECTION - Not only is this a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos but it also acts as the perfect photo op for your guests to take pictures in front of. 2) COST EFFECTIVE - Our white flower background is faux, which means you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to get the look of a real flower wall.
